Charles Bediako, the 6-foot-11, 215-pound big from Andrews Osborne Academy (CA), picked up a scholarship offer from Duke on Monday.
Bediako, who is a candidate to relcass to 2020 from 2021, broke down his offer with ZAGSBLOG.
“I know that Duke has a great basketball program,” he said. “A lot of great players came from there. I like the tradition about how each player is in it for the team.”

R.J. Barrett is the most recent Canadian talent to attend Duke. Barrett was the third pick in the 2019 NBA Draft and is currently averaging 14.3 points and 5.3 rebounds with the Knicks.
Bediako has received offers from Alabama, Baylor, Illinois, Michigan State, and Ohio State, among others.
He is known for his versatility on both sides of the ball. He can beat you off the dribble and knock down spot up jumpers.
According to 247Sports, Bediako is a four-star prospect, ranked No. 33 overall, and is the No. 2 prospect from Canada.
