Duke takes over No. 1 ranking in AP poll, followed by Louisville, Michigan State

Duke is back atop the Associated Press poll after Evansville stunned then-No. 1 Kentucky last week.

Duke (4-0) is the third No. 1 team already this season after both Michigan State and Kentucky lost after holding the top spot.

Louisville follows Duke at No. 2, while Michigan State remains at No. 3.

Kansas is No. 4 and North Carolina is No. 5

Kentucky slides to No. 9.

There are three Big East teams in the poll with Seton Hall at No. 13, Villanova at No. 17 and Xavier at No. 18.
