A.J. Hoggard, the 6-foot-3, 215-pound Class of 2020 point guard from Huntington Prep (WV) and the PSA Cardinals, committed to Michigan State on Sunday.
Ranked the No. 13 point guard in the class by 247Sports.com, Hoggard also visited Providence (Aug. 30), Ole Miss (Sept. 5), Marquette (Sept. 18) and Florida (Sept. 20).

“First and foremost, AJ Hoggard has positioned himself to be considered a winner for the remainder of his career due to his choice of high school and AAU programs,” PSA Cardinals director Terrance “Munch” Williams said. “In college, he will be able to break down defenders and make his teammates better. He’s ready to run a team from Day 1 and can score with the best of them.”
