Noah Collier commits to Pittsburgh

By ADAM ZAGORIA

Noah Collier, the Class of 2020 forward from Westtown School (Pa.) and Team Final, has committed to Pittsburgh.

Collier also considered Cal and Clemson. He took officials to Pitt (Aug. 30), Clemson (Sept. 21) and Cal (Sept. 30).

“Noah Collier is a rapidly developing talent who can play multiple positions on offense and guard multiple positions on defense,” Westtown (PA) coach Seth Berger said. “He made a great choice in Pitt and will have an immediate impact for Coach [Jeff] Capel as a player and a teammate.”

Pittsburgh is not too far from his home which is an added benefit.

“I feel like Pitt has a great culture and it could be a great place for me to develop as a person and player,” he told Stockrisers.com. “I think we will have the pieces to make something big happen there. I can’t wait.”

He added: ““I think I’ve always known for a while, but it was a big family decision so it was necessary for us to take time and break down what each school I was looking at had to offer. At the end of the day Pitt was it.”

Pitt remains in the mix for several Class of 2020 players, including Cliff Omoruyi, R.J. Davis and John Hugley.
