Cole, who averaged 18.7 points and 6.2 rebounds last season while shooting 47 percent from the field and 44 percent from deep, was also courted by N.C. State, Oregon State, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Buffalo, Fresno State
“He brings instant offense with the ability to score in bunches as well as create for others,” said his head coach, Jake Williams. “He brings experience, leadership, toughness, and a winning pedigree. His length and athleticism will fit Coach Anderson’s defensive style of play perfectly. We couldn’t be happier for Vince and his future with St. John’s.”
