Lance Ware sets four visits, breaks down top schools

By ADAM ZAGORIA

Lance Ware, the 6-foot-9, 220-pound Class of 2020 forward from Camden (N.J.) High School and the NY Rens AAU Program, has set four official visits.

Ware will visit Ohio State (Aug. 30-Sept. 1), Michigan (Sept. 5-8), Providence (Sept. 12-14) and Miami (Sept. 28). He is also considering Kentucky but hasn’t set up a visit there yet. Kentucky’s “Big Blue Madness” is set for Oct. 11 with the annual Blue-White Scrimmage to follow on Oct. 18.

Ware, who averaged 14.4 points and 6.0 rebounds while impressing at Peach Jam, broke down his top five schools:

Michigan: “New coach who played at the highest level (and he played my position so I think he can teach me a lot!).”

Ohio State: “Have a great program and I can see my self possibly playing in that system.”

Miami: “Coach L is a great coach whos been around the game forever so he can share his knowledge with me and help me grow as a player.”

Kentucky: “World class program.”

Providence: “I like their style and I can see myself possibly playing in that system.”
