Jalen Johnson to Duke

By ADAM ZAGORIA

Jalen Johnson, the 6-foot-9 Class of 2020 small forward from Nicolet (WI) High School, committed to Duke on July 4th.

Ranked No. 4 in the Class of 2020 by ESPN.com, Johnson also considered Arizona, Kentucky and Wisconsin.

“Next year I’ll be attending Duke University to play for coach K,” Johnson told 247Sports.com.

“I picked them because how much of a priority I was for them and the potential they see in me,” he added. “It was just a different vibe that I got with them and it was just great since my first conversation with them.”

Duke’s entire staff visited Johnson on April 22.

“I see myself fitting in great with the play style right away,” Johnson 247. “Coach K lets his guys play their games and play through their mistakes.”
