By ADAM ZAGORIA

Yassine Gharram, the 6-foot-2, 183-pound point guard from Foothills Christian (CA), committed to Yale on Wednesday.

Princeton and Harvard were also interested.

“I feel like my game fits coach [James] Jones style of play,” he said. “The opportunity to play will be there when I step on campus.

“And I am am going to a program that knows how to win which is what I am accustomed to doing at Foothills Christian in San Diego. As for the education factor, it will set me up for life with a degree from Yale.”

He is Yale’s second commit following shooting guard Emir Büyükhanlı.
