Transferring Delaware guard Ithiel Horton visiting Pitt, Arkansas

By ADAM ZAGORIA

Transferring Delaware guard Ithiel Horton will take an unofficial visit to Pittsburgh beginning Sunday (today) and an official visit to Arkansas beginning Monday, he told ZAGSBLOG.

The 6-foot-3 Horton informed Delaware coach Martin Ingelsby last week that he wanted to transfer, leaving Delaware to fill his scoring void with July about to begin.

A product of Roselle (N.J.) Catholic, Horton averaged 13.2 points and 3.1 rebounds as a freshman at Delaware.

Pittsburgh is looking to up its talent level in the ACC under second-year coach Jeff Capel, while new Arkansas coach Eric Musselman built his Nevada team into a national power largely through transfers.
