Kentucky landed Bucknell grad transfer Nate Sestina to replenish its soon-to-be-depleted frontcourt.
Kentucky will lose big man Reid Travis to graduation and sophomore P.J. Washington to the NBA Draft.
The 6-foot-9 Sestina averaged 15.8 points and 8.5 rebounds last season for the Bison, who lost to Colgate in the Patriot League championship game.
Kentucky also has a four-man recruiting class including guard Tyrese Maxey and wings Dontaie Allen, Keion Brooks and Kahlil Whitney.
It’s been an amazing ride from Emporium to Bucknell and everywhere in between, and it’s surreal to think my college basketball career isn’t over yet.
I’m humbled to get started with @KentuckyMBB! Need to thank God, my family, my coaches, teammates and @UKCoachCalipari #BBN pic.twitter.com/JS3ZKqIS4e
