With 7-foot-6 Tacko Fall and UCF set to face 6-7 Zion Williamson and Duke in the second round of the NCAA Tournament in Columbia, S.C. on Sunday, Fall has a message for Zion.
Fall says he won’t allow Zion to dunk on him.
“It’s very hard [to dunk on me]. I won’t allow it,” he told Andy Katz of NCAA.com. “I won’t allow him to put me on one of his highlight tapes.”
Said Williamson on Saturday: “What is he supposed to say? Is he supposed to say like I’m going to dunk on him? He said the right thing, but I’m not really focused on that. I’m just focused on trying to help my team win the game.”
ESPN’s Jay Bilas added on air, “I’d be surprised if Zion gets one over on Zion but you never know.”
“I won’t allow it. I won’t allow him to put me on one of his highlight tapes.”
