Gonzaga returned to No. 1 in the AP Top 25 following Duke’s loss last week to North Carolina.
The Zags (27-2, 14-0 West Coast Conference) own the nation’s longest active winning streak with 18 consecutive victories. Gonzaga completed the program’s fourth undefeated home slate with wins over Pepperdine and BYU.
Virginia is No. 2, followed by Duke, Kentucky and North Carolina.
Kansas fell to No. 15, its lowest rank since 2014.
Villanova dropped out after losing three straight, leaving Marquette as the lone Big East team at No. 10.
Wofford of the Southern Conference debuted at No. 24.
Three of the top five are from the ACC, with five ACC teams overall.
There are six Big Ten teams.
