The Knicks now own the NBA’s worst record as the Zion Williamson Tankathon has hit full stride.
With their loss to Dallas Wednesday night, the Knicks lost their 11th straight and fell to 10-40. They now have the NBA’s worst record and have lost 80 percent of their games.
The Knicks have a 14 percent chance at the No. 1 overall pick and a 52.1 percent shot at a top-4 pick. Phoenix and Cleveland share the same odds. (The Knicks also have about a 50 percent chance at the No. 5 pick.)
And to be clear, Josh Newman and I coined the phrase ‘Stop Tryin’ for Zion’ back in September.)

Williamson and Duke have actually won more games at Madison Square Garden since Dec. 1 than the Knicks.
“If they draft me, I would love to play for the Knicks,” the 6-foot-7 Williamson said after Duke beat Texas Tech last month at the Garden. “I don’t really care where I go, just the experience of being in the NBA. Whoever wants me and whoever sees the most in me, that’s where I want to be.”
Williamson and the No. 2 Blue Devils, meantime, host another New York team on Saturday when Chris Mullin and St. John’s come calling.

They could also attempt to flip their draft pick for Anthony Davis assuming Davis isn’t dealt to the Lakers or another team before the summer.
Davis’s agent, Rich Paul, let the Pelicans know this week he wanted to be traded and wouldn’t sign a five-year supermax contract worth $240 million.
