Duke’s Tre Jones probable for Saturday’s game with Georgia Tech

By ADAM ZAGORIA

Duke freshman point guard Tre Jones is “probable” for Saturday’s game against Georgia Tech, according to head coach Mike Krzyzewski.

“He has really progressed well and hopefully he will be ready to go on Saturday,” head coach Mike Krzyzewski told team radio announcer David Shumate via the Duke Chronicle.

The school had initially said Jones would be out “indefinitely” with a separated shoulder suffered in Duke’s overtime loss to Syracuse on Jan. 14.

The 6-foot-3 Jones is averaging 8.5 points, 5.9 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 1.9 steals.
