Indiana suspends guard Devonte Green indefinitely

By ADAM ZAGORIA

Indiana has suspended junior guard Devonte Green indefinitely for not meeting program standards.

The 6-foot-3 Green is a New York native who played at Long Island Lutheran and is the younger brother of Toronto Raptors forward Danny Green. He is averaging 8.0 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists.

“Indiana University junior Devonte Green, a member of the men’s basketball team, has been suspended from game competition for not meeting the standards expected of members of the program,” the school said in a statement. “There will be no further comment on the matter at this time.”
