Chanse Robinson, the 6-foot point guard from Lincoln (LA) Preparatory, broke down his first two official visits to Grambling State (Nov. 2) and Wichita State (Dec. 1) for ZAGSBLOG Wednesday.
Wichita State: “It was a fun visit. I like the atmosphere there.”
Grambling State: “It was fun. They showed love because it’s my hometown. They didn’t get into specifics about how they would use me.”
Robinson also said he intends to take unofficial visits to Texas A&M, TCU, and Arkansas. He has no dates set yet.
With his recruitment fully underway, Robinson said he plans to cut his list down before committing, but is still unsure when. He currently has 12 offers. He broke down what he is looking for in a school:
“I’m looking at how I fit in, if they get out in transition, if they play fast, if they play angry,” said Robinson. “I’m an aggressive guard that is fast and quick. I can handle the ball and get to the rim. I can finish well.”
According to 247Sports, Robinson is ranked as the No. 157 overall player in the Class of 2020 and the No. 2 player from the state of Louisiana. He currently holds offers from Wichita State, Grambling State, TCU, VCU, Houston, Seton Hall, Louisiana Tech, and Tulane, among others.
