On Saturday, LSU head coach Will Wade and assistant Bill Armstrong were on hand for Quinones following his recent official visit with Trendon Watford. Quinones said LSU is making him a priority.
“Yeah, as of right now,” he said. “They’re telling me that they’re losing key shooters this year and they need a scorer to come in. They’re prioritizing me right now with the recruitment telling me I’m their main priority so they’ve been texting and calling me a lot.”
Still, Quinones is also hearing from N.C. State, UCLA, Georgia, Florida and St. John’s, among others.
“There’s a lot of schools asking me to visit,” he said.
