Zion puts on another dunk show as Duke wins first game as No. 1

By ADAM ZAGORIA

Duke didn’t slow its roll after becoming the new No. 1 team in the land.

The Blue Devils blew out Eastern Michigan 84-46 behind a combined 41 points from Zion Williamson (21) and R.J. Barrett (20), who could be the top two picks in the 2019 NBA Draft.

Still, all anyone is talking about is the dunk show Williamson continues to put on.

At one point, Williamson tossed up an alley-oop lob for Barrett and on the next trip downcourt, Barrett returned the favor by setting up a dunk for Williamson, who was looking down at the rim when he dunked it.

“It is great to be No. 1, but nobody really cares who’s No. 1 right now,” Williamson said. “The goal is to win a championship in March.”

Williamson has scored 76 points in three games for the Devils.
