After being introduced as a member of the Philadelphia 76ers, Jimmy Butler was asked to address the shooting woes of second-year guard Markelle Fultz, the former No. 1 pick.
“He is a talented young player,” Butler said per NJ.com. “From what I can tell, a lot of things are mental. In this league, 90 percent is mental. If you think you can do something, you can.
“I know some of the people who know him and they tell me how great he wants to be. So, as long as he’s going hard and giving his all every day, the guy has my respect. I just want him to go out there and play hard and be who he is and stick to his strengths. I know he’s going to thrive and be successful.”

According to reports. Fultz and trainer Drew Hanlen have parted ways, and Fultz seems headed to the bench in Philadelphia.
Markelle Fultz and Drew Hanlen are no longer working together or on speaking terms, according to league sources. No word on why the two parted ways, but their relationship deteriorated about three weeks ago. Prior to this falling out, Fultz spent the summer training with Hanlen.
