New York prep stars Cole Anthony and Kofi Cockburn both transferred from New York City high schools to legendary Oak Hill Academy (VA) for their senior years.
Now they have something else in common as well.
Both Anthony and Cockburn will sign with colleges in the spring, Oak Hill coach Steve Smith told ZAGSBLOG.
The NCAA early signing period runs Nov. 14-21, while the late period runs April 17-May 15.
The 6-foot-3 Anthony, ranked No. 2 in the Class of 2019 by ESPN.com, has taken official visits to Notre Dame, North Carolina and Oregon. He also lists Georgetown, Miami and Wake Forest among his final six.

The 6-10 Cockburn, ranked No. 31 by ESPN, recently took his first official visit to UConn.
Cockburn is down to Syracuse, Kansas, Pittsburgh, Illinois, UConn, LSU, Florida State and St. John’s.
“I want to go to a school where I’m able to go in, get better, and show my talent as a player and a person,” he said this summer.
Cockburn has enjoyed playing with Anthony.
“It’s been good playing with Cole,” said Cockburn. “He’s a great point guard and he gets the job done at the end of the day.”
