Recruiting Roundup: Weekend Visits and Tidbits

Here’s a look towards this weekend’s recruiting visits and other news. This list will be updated throughout the weekend.

**James Wiseman, the 7-foot center from East (TN) High School, trips to Florida State this weekend (Oct. 19) for his fourth official visit, according to Evan Daniels of 247Sports.com. Wiseman, who cut his list to five earlier this month, has taken official visits to Kentucky (Sept. 7), Kansas (Sept. 29), and Vanderbilt (Oct. 14). He will now visit Memphis next weekend (Oct. 25).

**Vernon Carey Jr., the 6-foot-10 center from University (FL) School, will take his third official visit to Duke this weekend (Oct. 19). Carey, who cut his list to five in May, has taken official visits to Michigan State (Feb. 10) and Kentucky (Oct. 12). He also has official visits planned to Miami (Oct. 26) and North Carolina (Nov. 2).

**Cole Anthony, the 6-foot-3 point guard from Oak Hill Academy (VA), takes his third official visit to Oregon this weekend (Oct. 19). Anthony has previously taken officials to Notre Dame (Sept. 14) and North Carolina (Sept. 28).

**Chandler Lawson, 6-foot-8 small forward from Oak Hill will also be joining Anthony on the visit to Oregon (Oct. 19). He has previously taken official visits to Ole Miss (Sept. 14), Kansas (Sept. 22), and Georgia Tech (Oct. 5).

**Keion Brooks, the 6-foot-6 small forward from La Lumiere (IN) School, trips to Kentucky this weekend (Oct. 19) for his third official visit. Brooks, who cut his list to six last month, has taken official visits to UCLA (Aug. 31) and Indiana (Sept. 28). He also has an official visit planned to North Carolina (Nov. 2).

**Zeke Nnaji, the 6-foot-11 power forward from Hopkins (MN) High School, will take his third official visit to UCLA this weekend (Oct. 20). Nnaji, who cut his list to five last month, has taken official visits to Kansas (Oct. 5-7) and Arizona (Oct. 13) and has visits planned to Baylor (Oct. 27) and Purdue (Nov. 2).

**CJ Walker, the 6-foot-8 power forward from Oak Ridge (FL), trips to LSU this weekend (Oct. 20) for his third official visit. Walker, who cut his list to three earlier this month, has taken official visits to Miami (Sept. 8) and Oregon (Sept. 21).

**Akok Akok, the 6-foot-9 power forward from Putnam Science Academy (CT), takes his fourth official visit to Syracuse this weekend (Oct. 20).  Akok, who cut his list to five last month, has taken official visits to Providence (Sept. 28), Georgetown (Oct. 6), and UConn (Oct. 13). He will take his fifth and final official visit to Pittsburgh later this month (Oct. 24).

**Qudus Wahab, the 6-foot-10 center from Flint Hill (VA) School, trips to Virginia Tech this weekend (Oct. 19) for his second official visit. Wahab, who cut his list to five last month, took his first official visit to UConn (Oct. 12-14) and has visits planned to Georgetown (Oct. 26), Pittsburgh (Nov. 2), and Syracuse (Nov. 9).

**Drew Timme, the 6-foot-10 center from J.J. Pearce (TX) High School, takes his fourth official visit to Illinois this weekend (Oct. 19). Timme, who named his top ten in August, has taken official visits to Texas A&M (Sept. 7), Gonzaga (Oct. 5), and Alabama (Oct. 12).

**N’Faly Dante, the 2020 center from Sunrise Christian (KS) and Mokan Elite, will take an unofficial visit to LSU this weekend (Oct. 20). Dante took an unofficial visit to Oregon last weekend (Oct. 13).

**Hunter Dickinson, the 2020 center from DeMatha Catholic (MD), takes his second official visit to Purdue this weekend (Oct. 19). Dickinson took his first official visit to Notre Dame (Sept. 1).

**MarJon Beauchamp, the 6-foot-6 shooting guard from Garfield (WA), will take his first official visit to Washington on Friday (Oct. 19). He has no other visits planned.

**Myron Gardner, the 6-foot-6 small forward from SPIRE Institute (OH), trips to Xavier this weekend (Oct. 19) for his first official visit. Gardner has no other visits planned.

**Rocket Watts, the 6-foot-2 combo guard from SPIRE (OH) Academy, takes his official visit to Michigan State this weekend (Oct. 19). Watts announced his commitment to the Spartans in September.
