Kyle Sturdivant to USC

By ADAM ZAGORIA

Kyle Sturdivant, the 6-foot-3, 180-pound Class of 2019 floor general out of Norcross (GA) High School and Nike Team Florida, committed to USC on Thursday.

He also considered Georgia, while Florida, Georgia Tech, Clemson, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Stanford and Rutgers were previously involved.

“I feel like it’s the best place for me on and off the court,” he told 247Sports.com. “Coach (Andy) Enfield plays a fun style of basketball and with the guys we have coming in I feel like we can do something special. Coach really showed me how much he wants me to be a part of the family.”

He plans to be a facilitator and scorer.

“I’m creating for others, controlling the tempo,” he told FloHoops.com earlier this year. “When I’m really at my best, I’m doing that and we’re winning.”

Sturdivant joins big men Isaiah Mobley and Onyeka Okongwu and wings Drake London and Max Agbonkpolo in USC’s 2019 class.
