2019 forward Chris Ledlum drawing coaches ahead of visits

By ADAM ZAGORIA

Since transferring to Northfield Mount Hermon (MA) from St. Peter’s Boys High School, Chris Ledlum has continued to draw high-major coaches to his workouts.

“Chris had on campus [Seton Hall’s] Kevin Willard, [Georgetown’s] Patrick Ewing, [Harvard’s] Tommy Amaker, [Yale’s] James Jones, [Pitt’s] Jeff Capel, [Notre Dame’s] Mike Brey all on campus this week,” NMH coach John Carroll said.

Seton Hall went three deep for Ledlum on Wednesday.

Carroll loves the fire and skillset of the 6-foot-7, 225-pound small forward from the NY Jayhawks AAU program.

“He’s a bully,” Carroll said. “He’s a 6-6-plus skilled tough guy, but he’s skilled. He’s a power player from the guard/forward spot, a tremendous competitor this summer and we’ve seen nothing but the same here. He’s an outstanding teammate. His only priority on the court is to make winning plays.”

Ledlum has taken unoffical visits to St. John’s and Seton Hall, but has yet to set up any officials.

“Later this week he’s going to make his visits and after that he’s going to take his visits,” Carroll said, “and then after that we’ll see.”
