By ADAM ZAGORIA

Jalen Gaffney, the 6-foot-2 combo guard from the Westtown (PA) School and Team Rio, is down to four schools and has set home and official visits.

Gaffney is now considering UConn, Xavier, Clemson and St. John’s, having eliminated Florida and Pittsburgh.

He completed home visits with St. John’s (Sunday), Xavier (Tuesday), UConn (Wednesday) and has Clemson (Thursday).

He has set officials to UConn (Sept. 21), Xavier (Sept. 29), Clemson (Oct. 12) and St. John’s (Oct. 19), although father told ZAGSBLOGĀ he may move the Xavier visit up.

According to 247Sports, Gaffney is ranked as the No. 200 overall player in the Class of 2019 and the No. 9 player from the state of New Jersey.

Playing with Team Rio on the Under Armour Association, Gaffney averaged 10.6 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 3.3 assists, in 16 games played.
