Armando Bacot is already headed to play at North Carolina next season.

He would like for Cole Anthony to join him.

If he does, Bacot believes they can accomplish great things.

“We need [to] win a natty and we could be special,” Bacot said of his message to Anthony during their joint official visit to UNC this past weekend.

The 6-foot-3 Anthony, the No. 1-rated guard in the Class of 2019 out of Oak Hill Academy (VA), took his second official to UNC this weekend following a recent visit to Notre Dame.

Miami, Wake Forest and UCLA are among the other schools involved, but UNC and coach Roy Williams has been as consistent as any program for Anthony, the son of former NBA point guard Greg Anthony.

Indiana hosted a pair of five-star recruits on official visits this weekend in Keion Brooks and  Trayce Jackson-Davis.

The 6-foot-9 Jackson-Davis is the No. 16 prospect in the Class of 2019, per ESPN.com, while the 6-7 Brooks is ranked No. 33.

“They want to keep the top talent players in state; they watched me and Keion play on the Nike circuit and we complemented each other really well,” Jackson-Davis said.

Aidan Igiehon, the 6-foot-10 center from Lawrence Woodmere (NY) Academy and the Team Rio AAU program, took his second official visit to Louisville this weekend and will next take one to St. John’s the weekend of Oct. 5.

St. John’s head coach Chris Mullin is expected to see Igiehon on Tuesday at Woodmere.

Igiehon previously visited Oregon and may still take an official to Kentucky, which is in need of bigs for 2019.

Meantime, Louisville coach Chris Mack and St. John’s assistant Matt Abdelmassih both visited Igiehon’s mother in her native Ireland. Louisville assistant Luke Murray then was at Woodmere last week, as was Oregon’s Dana Altman.
