Wong broke down all five for PrepCircuit.com:
Clemson: “Clemson is a program that recently approached me and told me they need me to run the point as a freshman. They have a small school in a beautiful area with a winning environment especially with them having the number one football team there. It is appealing to me that they are big on defense and I like how they say their style of play is.”
Miami: “Miami has a nice campus and they have history of players that play pro and being they are in the ACC. They play in a good conference, which means there will be competition every night. Their coaches love me, believe in me and will help me work on getting to the next level.”
Pittsburgh: “Pittsburgh is a great organization. Coach Jeff Capel is from Duke so their coaches have experience with winning teams and are also in the ACC.”
UConn: “UConn is a great place with great history and reputation. Coach Hurley is the son of one of the greats so they will expect a lot. They tell me they really want me to be a part of building their program and have a lot of good things to say about what they think I can do there.”
Villanova: “Villanova has always had teams that compete at the top level. They have great coaches, players that turn pro, they play hard with poise and have a high basketball IQ. It’s also close to home and my family will be able to see me play there.”
