Cole Anthony, the 6-foot-3 combo guard from Archbishop Molloy (NY) High School, will transfer to Oak Hill (VA) Academy for his senior season.
“We’re deciding to attend Oak Hill Academy,” he said on ESPNU.
Chandler Lawson Cam Thomas, Lynn Greer, Tobias Rotegard and fellow New York City prep star Kobi Cockburn will also join Anthony at Oak Hill next year.
“We are so excited that Cole will be joining the Oak Hill basketball family,” Oak Hill head coach Steve Smith told ZAGSBLOG Saturday. “We have a long history of outstanding point guards who have played for us,” “Nine have gone on to play in the NBA. I think Cole has the potential to be the next great one.”
“I love his ability to create for his teammates and himself,” he said. “He has tremendous court vision and a great feel for making the right plays. “

Several big name schools traveled to the PSA Cardinals/NY Jayhawks Combine at the Westtown School in West Chester, Pa., to watch Anthony earlier this month.
North Carolina’s Roy Williams, Louisville’s Chris Mack, Oregon’s Dana Altman, Michigan’s John Beilein, Notre Dame’s Mike Brey, Georgetown’s Patrick Ewing and two assistants each from Maryland and Villanova were among those on hand for Anthony.
“I don’t want to single any one college out yet, because I know I’m going to forget someone,” Anthony said at the Peach Jam when asked who was recruiting him the hardest.
He figures to hone in on his recruitment next month.
“Me and my dad will probably start to lock in that after the summer’s over, probably mid-August,” he said. “I’ll be staying with him for a little while in Florida. We’ll probably sit down and really start to talk about it then.”
According to 247Sports, Anthony is ranked as the No. 3 player in the Class of 2019 and the top combo guard in the class.
Playing on the Nike EYBL Circuit this summer with PSA Cardinals, Anthony took home honors as the Nike EYBL Most Valuable Player after leading the circuit in scoring. Anthony averaged 26.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.4 steals per game in 16 regular season games.
In five games at Peach Jam, Anthony averaged 26.2 points, 8.4 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and two steals per game, as the PSA Cardinals finished with a 2-3 record.
