Kevin McCullar to Texas Tech

Kevin McCullar, the 6-foot-6 small forward from Karen Wagner (TX) High School, has committed to Texas Tech, he announced on Twitter Thursday evening. McCullar will reclassify to 2018 and enroll mid-year.

McCullar chose the Red Raiders over Virginia Tech, Houston, Louisville, and Kansas State.

In his junior season, McCullar averaged 16.8 points, 6.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.3 blocks per game.

McCullar is the fifth member of Chris Beard’s 2018 recruiting class which involves Khavon Moore, Kyler Edwards, Deshawn Corprew, and Josh Mballa.
