NORWALK, CA — Chanse Robinson, the 6-foot point guard from Lincoln (LA) Preparatory Academy, told ZAGSBLOG on Saturday at the Pangos All-American Camp that he is planning unofficial visits to Iowa, Iowa State, and Georgia Tech this summer.
“Iowa and Iowa State both like to get out in transition and go,” said Robinson. “Georgia Tech has a slower pace of play and they”re very composed.”
In addition to the three schools mentioned above, Robinson currently holds offers from TCU, Tulane, Grambling State, Louisiana Tech, Louisiana Lafayette, TCU, and Tulane, with interest from Houston, LSU, Memphis, and Michigan, among others.
“It’s about where I fit in with my style of play,” said Robinson on what he’s looking for in a school. “It’s all about the program.”
In the five-on-five drills at the Pangos Camp on Saturday, Robinson finished with 11 points, three rebounds, and one assist.
“It’s a great experience getting to play against all these top ranked kids and it’s been fun to show what I’ve got,” he said. “I’ve done a good job of coming off screens, attacking the basket, and getting others involved. I’m working on getting my jump shot more consistent.”
