Five New York-New Jersey teams make Peach Jam field (UPDATED)

By ADAM ZAGORIA

The official Peach Jam field has been released, and five teams from New York and New Jersey highlight the 24-team field.

The Albany City Rocks (10-6), PSA Cardinals (8-8), NJ Playaz (8-8), NY Rens (8-8) and New York Lightning (10-6) all made the field for Peach Jam, which runs July 11-15 in North Augusta, S.C.

Team Takeover out of the Washington, D.C. area finished EYBL play at 16-0, becoming the first team ever to go unbeaten through the first four sessions.

The inclusion of the five New York-New Jersey teams means that a slew of college coaches — and fans — will see such players as Cole Anthony (PSA Cardinals), Isaiah Stewart and Joe Girard (City Rocks), Kofi Cockburn and Jalen Lecque (Rens), Khalif Battle (Playaz) and Posh Alexander (Lightning).
