It isn’t often that a player commits to a school from which he decommited.
But that’s exactly what happened Saturday with Brandon Williams and Arizona.
Williams, the 6-foot-2 point guard from Crespi Carmelite (CA) High School, announced for Arizona on Saturday at the BallisLife All-American Game.

Williams also considered Oregon and Gonzaga after de-committing from Arizona in March after the Deandre Ayton/Sean Miller story broke.
According to 247Sports, Williams is ranked as the No. 31 overall player in the Class of 2018 and the No. 3 player from the state of California.
He joins a recruiting class that includes fellow point guard Devonaire Doutrive and Belgian small forward Omar Thielemans.
Arizona remains in the mix for McDonald’s All-American forward Jordan Brown, who is also considering Cal and Nevada, and is expected to announce within the next week or two.
