The legend of Joe Girard continues to grow.
Duke became the latest school to offer the 6-foot-1 Class of 2019 combo guard from Glens Falls (N.Y.) High school during his visit on Wednesday.
“[Coach K] likes my toughness, leadership and he said I’m the best shooter in the country,” Girard told ZAGSBLOG.

A two-sport star, Girard recently surpassed Lance Stephenson to become New York State’s all-time leading scorer. He’s averaging 50 points per game and will now shoot for 3,000 career points in his career.
