Texas A&M dismisses JJ Caldwell, suspends Jay Jay Chandler

In the wake of Saturday’s win over Kentucky, Texas A&M has taken disciplinary action against two players.

The Aggies have dismissed redshirt freshman JJ Caldwell (pictured) from the team, while freshman Jay Jay Chandler has been suspended indefinitely  for “violations of Texas A&M policy.”

The 6-foot-1 Caldwell was averaging 3.0 points and 1.9 rebounds, while Chandler is averaging 4.0 points and 1.0 rebounds.

Texas A&M is 17-8, 6-6 in the SEC entering Tuesday’s game at Missouri.
