Washington Wizards point guard John Wall will miss six weeks because of a knee procedure, The Washington Post reported.

Wall was one of four Kentucky alums selected to the NBA All-Star Game, but with both him and DeMarcus Cousins (torn Achilles) now down with injuries, that number has been cut in half.
Anthony Davis, Cousins’ New Orleans Pelicans teammate, will start for Team LeBron, while New Jersey native Karl-Anthony Towns of the Minnesota Timberwolves was chosen as a reserve for Team Steph.
Wall underwent two knee surgeries in May 2016 and will now have another clean-up procedure.
“It’s a concern but we have to trust that the doctors and everybody is going to have the best game plan for him going forward and it’s always about him going forward, not about us going forward,” coach Scott Brooks told reporters Monday, before news that Wall, 27, would have the procedure.
