Jairus Hamilton to Boston College

By JACOB POLACHECK

Jairus Hamilton, the 6-foot-8 small forward from Cannon (NC) School, announced his commitment to Boston College on Thursday via Twitter. He took an unofficial visit to Boston College earlier this year (Sept. 30).

According to 247Sports, Hamilton is ranked as the No. 67 overall player in the Class of 2018 and the No. 6 player from the state of North Carolina. He joins Wynston Tabbs as the second commit in Boston College’s 2018 class.

Hamilton, who cut his list to three prior to his decision, chose Boston College over Maryland and Mississippi State. Although he didn’t take an official to Boston College, Hamilton took official visits Maryland (Oct. 13) and Mississippi State (Oct. 20).
