Simi Shittu, the 6-foot-10 power forward from Vermont Academy (VT) who has committed to Vanderbilt, will undergo an MRI on his right knee on Friday and could miss the remainder of the season, a source told ZAGSBLOG.
Shittu injured the knee on Dec. 28 while playing in the Slam Dunk to the Beach event.

Shittu is the third member of a top-10 recruiting class for head coach Bryce Drew which also includes Aaron Nesmith and top-5 point guard Darius Garland. The ‘Dores are also in the running for five-star guard Romeo Langford who recently cut his list to Vanderbilt, Indiana, and Kansas.
Shittu told ZAGSBLOG he plans on being a one-and-done. According to NBADraft.net, Shittu is the projected No. 9 pick in the 2019 NBA Draft.
According to 247Sports, Shittu is the No. 7 player in the class of 2018.
