Duke-bound wing R.J. Barrett and Kansas signee Devon Dotson will square off in the championship game of the International Youth Basketball Spectacular in Beijing.
The game is set for 3 p.m. local time Saturday in Beijing.
Dotson went for 33 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists in Providence Day’s 75-72 semifinal win over the Bayi Rockets, a Chinese club team that Providence had previously lost to.
Barrett and Montverde routed the third American team in the event, Chaminade College Prep (CA), 89-35, in the other semifinal. Monteverde is the No. 1-ranked team in the USA Today poll.
