Quentin Grimes, the 6-foot-5, 195-pound point guard from College Park High School (TX), will announce his college choice at his school on Wednesday at 6:30 CT, his AAU coach confirmed.
Kansas coach Bill Self and Texas coach Shaka Smart have both been in to see Grimes in the last couple of days. He has visited Texas (Sept. 22), Kentucky (Sept. 29), Kansas (Oct. 13) and Marquette (Oct. 20).

“The plan is to announce in November and hopefully be a part of the early signing period,” his AAU coach, Rhossi Carron, told ZAGSBLOG. “He’s down to four schools and I think each one of those schools has done a really job of laying out a clear plan of where he fits, what his role would be and what they expect from him. He’s visited all four schools so he has all the information that he needs. He just has to take some time to reflect on those visits and prioritize what’s important to him and to his family and go from there.”
