Jared Rhoden down to a Final Four, will announce Saturday (UPDATED)

Jared Rhoden, the 6-foot-6 shooting guard from Our Saviour Lutheran (NY) School and the NY Lightning, is down to a Final Four and will announce his college choice at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Rhoden is now considering Seton Hall, Saint Louis, Penn State and Wichita State, per Lightning coach Dana Dingle. He is coming off an official to Penn State last weekend and previously visited Saint Louis (Sept. 29), Wichita State (Oct. 6) and Seton Hall (Oct. 13).

Rhoden cut Dayton, Hofstra, Oregon State, Santa Clara, UMass, VCU and Wyoming from his previous list of 11.

His Lightning teammate, point guard Anthony Nelson, committed to Seton Hall on Tuesday night.

Nelson has been recruiting Rhoden to join him at Seton Hall, as I wrote here.

Playing on the Nike EYBL Circuit, Rhoden averaged 14.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.0 assists in 21 games.

According to 247Sports.com, Rhoden is ranked N0. 138 in the class of 2018 and the No. 3 player in the state of New York.
