2018 wing Louis King names a final five
Louis King, the 6-foot-8 small forward from
Brycen Goodine, the 6-foot-4 shooting guard from
Quentin Grimes, the 6-foot-5, 195-pound point guard from College Park High School (TX), has trimmed his list to four schools and set up official visits with each.
Grimes will visit Texas (Sept. 22), Kentucky (Sept. 29), Kansas (Oct. 13) and Marquette (Oct. 20)
“Those are really my final four right now,” he said Wednesday by phone.

NEW YORK — Khalid Moore, the 6-foot-8, 190-pound Class of 2018 wing from Archbishop Molloy High School and the NY Rens, has two official visits planned at the moment.
Moore will trip to Seton Hall (Sept. 28-30) and Georgia Tech (Oct. 22-24).
“I’m setting up an official visit later this month with Seton Hall, and then next month I’m supposed to be going to Georgia Tech,” Moore said Wednesday during an open gym.
As for Georgia Tech, head coach Josh Pastner has made inroads in New York City, landing former Christ the King point guard Jose Alvarado.
Iggy Brazdeikis, the 6-foot-8, 220-pound shooting guard from Orangeville (ON) Prep, took the first of his official visits to Michigan last weekend and then hosted Michigan coach John Beilein at school on Tuesday.
“[The visit] was really good, they really took care of me and my family,” he said Wednesday by phone. “We had a great time. We learned a lot and I saw their style of play and the players work out. I enjoyed everything.”
The Wolverines see him “playing on the wing and on the perimeter.”
“They see me as a playmaker creating for others but also myself,” he said. “That’s what they see me as, coming off ball screens and showing how versatile I am.”

The 6-foot-3 Ball is a junior at Chino Hills (CA) High School who has verbally committed to UCLA, where one older brother Lonzo Ball spent last season before being drafted No. 2 overall by the Los Angeles Lakers. LiAngelo Ball, the middle of the three brothers, is also a UCLA freshman. LaMelo Ball is set to enroll at UCLA in 2019 and would be eligible for the 2020 NBA Draft.
“When it comes to basketball and you’re good, you just better be ready for [NBA] training camp,” the elder Ball said Wednesday on ESPN’s “First Take.” “So they can’t stop me by saying, ‘OK, he’s not going to the NCAA.’ Who cares, he won’t go to the NCAA.
“‘Oh, he better go overseas.’ Why? All he gotta do is be faster and be stronger and when it’s time to prepare, we can sit out for as long as we want. If they’re going to give him a chance, they’re going to give him a chance.”
