Jaxson Hayes narrows to five schools

Jaxson Hayes, the 6-foot-10 power forward from Cincinnati (OH) Archbishop Moeller, has narrowed his list to five schools.

Hayes is working with a list of Butler, Georgetown, Kentucky, Texas and Xavier. He has no visits or timetable set for now but broke down all five for ZAGSBLOG.

Butler: “I really like coach [LaVall] Jordan and his staff along with the guys. They were the first big time school to take a shot on me.”

Georgetown: “I like coach [Patrick] Ewing and the development plan he has for me.”

Kentucky: “I like coach Cal and coach Kenny Payne a lot. They have great development plans for me as well.”

Texas: “I really like the coaching staff and the plan that they have to develop me. I also really like the guys.”

Xavier: “I like the coaches and their development plan as well. They are also really close to home. The guys there are great.”
