Here’s a look towards this weekend’s recruiting visits and other news. This list will be updated throughout the weekend.
**Xavier will host a trio of recruits this weekend with David McCormack, Isaiah Mucius, and Noah Locke, all taking official visits this weekend (Sept. 9). McCormack has already taken an official to NC State (Sept. 1) and will visit Kansas later this month (Sept. 29). Xavier will be Mucius’ first official visit and he also has an official planned for Wake Forest later this month (Sept. 15-17). Locke has taken officials to Ohio State (Aug. 22) and Providence (Aug. 31) and will also take officials to Michigan (Sept. 16) and Florida (Sept. 30).
**Zion Williamson, the 6-foot-7 small forward from Spartanburg (SC) Day School, takes an unofficial visit to Clemson this weekend (Sept. 9). This is Williamson’s first unofficial visit since UNC (March 4). He has not taken any official visits and does not have any planned at the moment.
**Nassir Little, the 6-foot-7 small forward from Orlando Christian (FL) High School, trips to North Carolina this weekend for his second official visit (Sept. 8). Little took his first official to Georgia Tech last month (Aug. 26) and has officials planned for Miami (Sept. 15), Arizona (Oct. 26), and Duke (Nov. 10). Little cut his list to five last month.
**Louis King, the 6-foot-8 small forward from Hudson Catholic (NJ) High School, will visit Oregon this weekend for his first official visit (Sept. 9). Although he has no other visits planned, King cut his list to eight last month and is expected to take his official visits. Connecticut, Kansas, Maryland, N.C. State, Purdue, Seton Hall and Syracuse are the other schools included on his list.
**Keldon Johnson, the 6-foot-5 shooting guard from Oak Hill (VA) Academy, takes his second official visit to NC State this weekend (Sept. 8). Johnson took his first official visit to Texas last weekend (Sept. 1) and has an official planned to Maryland (Sept. 22). Johnson originally planned to visit Florida State this weekend before the threat of Hurricane Irma forced him to cancel. He also took an unofficial visit to Kentucky last month (Aug. 22) where he received an offer. Johnson is down to Texas, Maryland, Kentucky, Florida State, and NC State.
**Jalen Carey, the 6-foot-3 point guard from Immaculate Conception (NJ) High School, will visit Syracuse this weekend (Sept. 8) for his third official visit. Carey has taken officials to Miami (Aug. 25) and UConn (Aug. 30) and will visit Kansas later this month (Sept. 29). Carey is also considering Rutgers and Villanova.
**Luther Muhammad, the 6-foot-4 shooting guard from Hudson Catholic (NJ) High School, visits Ohio State this weekend (Sept. 8) for his third official visit. Muhammad has already taken officials to St. John’s (June 23) and Virginia (Aug. 19), and has visits planned for Xavier (Sept. 15) and West Virginia (Sept. 22).
**Luguentz Dort, the 6-foot-4 shooting guard from The Conrad (FL) School, trips to Oregon this weekend for his first official visit (Sept. 8-10). Dort, who is down to six schools, also has official visits planned to Arizona State (Sept. 15-17) and Baylor (Sept. 22-24). He is also considering Michigan State, Indiana, and Miami.
**Elijah Weaver, the 6-foot-4 point guard from Oldsmar Christian (FL) High School, takes his second official visit to Ohio State this weekend (Sept. 9). Weaver, who cut his list to four last week, took an official visit to USC last weekend (Sept. 2) and has visits planned to Florida (Sept. 16) and Oklahoma State (Sept. 22). Weaver also took an official visit to Louisville earlier this year (Jan. 28) but they weren’t included in his final four.
**Ignas Brazdeikis, the 6-foot-8 shooting guard from Orangeville (ON) Prep, takes his first official visit to Michigan this weekend (Sept. 7-9). Brazdeikis, who has previously named Michigan, Florida, Vanderbilt, UConn, Illinois, Virginia Tech, and SMU as the schools recruiting him the hardest, will also take official visits to Vanderbilt (Sept. 15) and Florida (Sept. 29).
**Jaedon Ledee, the 6-foot-7 small forward from The Kinkaid (TX) School, visits Ohio State this weekend for his first official visit (Sept. 9). Ledee also has official visits planned to California (Sept. 15), LSU (Sept. 29), and UCLA (Oct. 6). He took an unofficial visit to Oklahoma earlier this month (Sept. 2). Houston, Iowa State, and Texas A&M are also included in Ledee’s final eight.
**Nate Laszewski, the 6-foot-10 power forward from Northfield Mount Hermon (MA) School, visits Notre Dame this weekend for his first official visit (Sept. 9). Laszewski also has an official visit planned to North Carolina (Sept. 22) and took an unofficial visit to Wisconsin last month (Aug. 9). Laszewski’s sister, Abby, is a sophomore at Wisconsin.
**Tyler Harris, the 5-foot-9 point guard from Cordova (TN) High School, trips to Colorado State for his second official visit this weekend (Sept. 8). Harris took his first official visit to Iowa State last weekend (Sept. 1) and is likely to visit TCU and Cincinatti.
**Zion Griffin, the 6-foot-6 small forward from Hinsdale South (IL) High School, takes his second official visit to Iowa State this weekend (Sept. 8). Griffin, who cut his list to four last month, took his first official visit to Illinois State last month (Aug. 25) and has visits planned for Pittsburgh (Sept. 15) and Kansas (Sept. 30).
**Michael Devoe, the 6-foot-4 point guard from Montverde (FL) Academy, trips to USC this weekend for his second official visit (Sept. 9). Devoe took his first official visit to Georgia Tech (Aug. 25) last month and will take official visits to Wake Forest (Sept. 14), Ohio State (Sept. 22), and Florida (Oct. 7). Clemson, UConn, and Indiana are also included in Devoe’s top eight.
**Justin Ahrens, the 6-foot-5 small forward from Versailles (OH) High School, will visit Michigan this weekend for his first official visit (Sept. 8). Ahrens, who cut his list to three last month, will also take officials to Ohio State (Sept. 22) and Xavier (Sept. 29).
**Jake Forrester, the 6-foot-8 power forward from the Westtown (PA) School, trips to Indiana this weekend for his second official visit (Sept. 8). Forrester, who cut his list to five last month, took his first official visit to Seton Hall last weekend (Sept. 2) and spoke with ZAGSBLOG about the visit. Forrester also has official visits planned to Pittsburgh (Sept. 15), Xavier (Sept. 22) and Virginia Tech (Sept. 29).
**Josh Leblanc, the 6-foot-7 power forward from Madison Prep (LA) Academy, trips to Texas A&M this weekend for his third official visit (Sept. 8). Leblanc, who is down to four schools, has taken official visits to Georgetown (Aug. 11) and Arkansas (Aug. 25). LSU is also in Leblanc’s final four but he hasn’t planned a visit yet.
**Nate Hinton, the 6-foot-6 shooting guard from Gaston Day (NC) School, will visit Cincinnati this weekend (Sept. 9) for his second official visit. Hinton took his first official visit to Houston last month (Aug. 6) and will visit Florida State later this month (Sept. 16).
**Brendan Adams, the 6-foot-4 point guard from Calvert Hall (MD) College, takes his second official visit to Rhode Island on Thursday (Sept. 7). Adams took his first official visit to Georgia last month (Aug. 24) and will visit Wyoming (Sept. 15) and Georgia Tech (Oct. 13). George Mason, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Princeton, and St. Joe’s are also included in Adams’ top nine.
**Jaxson Hayes, the 6-foot-10 power forward from Archbishop Moeller (OH) High School, visits Texas this weekend for his first official visit (Sept. 8). Hayes also has an official visit to Xavier planned for later this month (Sept. 15). Earlier this month, Hayes took unofficial visits to Kentucky (Sept. 2) and Illinois (Sept. 3).
**Immanuel Bates, the 6-foot-9 power forward from Jack Britt (NC) High School, trips to NC State this weekend (Sept. 8) for his second official visit. Bates has taken an official visit to Georgetown (Sept. 1) and has an official planned to Georgia Tech for later this month (Sept. 22). DePaul, Louisville, South Carolina and Xavier are also included in Bates’ top seven.
**Tre Wood, the 6-foot point guard from St. John’s (DC) College High School, visits UMass this weekend (Sept. 8) for his first official visit. Wood also has official visits planned for George Mason (Sept. 15), Towson (Sept. 22), and VCU (Sept. 29).
**Dimon Carrigan, the 6-foot-9 power forward from Woodstock (MA) Academy, will visit UConn this weekend (Sept. 8) for his first official visit. Carrigan, who is also considering Clemson, Connecticut, Georgia Tech, Houston, Miami, Syracuse, Texas and Wichita State, also has an official planned for Houston (Sept. 23).
**Eric Hunter, the 6-foot-3 shooting guard from Charles A. Tindley (IN) Accelerated School, trips to Purdue this weekend (Sept. 8) for his first official visit. Hunter, who named his final six in June, also has officials planned to Xavier (Sept. 15), Ohio State (Sept. 20), and Minnesota (Sept. 27). Butler and Nebraska are also included on Hunter’s list.
**Aaron Nesmith, the 6-foot-5 small forward from Porter Gaud (SC) School, took his second official visit to South Carolina on Wednesday (Sept. 6). Nesmith, who is down to seven schools, took his first official visit to Vanderbilt last month (Aug. 4).
**Jared Butler, the 6-foot-2 point guard from Riverside (LA) Academy, will visit Alabama this weekend for his second official visit (Sept. 8). Butler, who is down to six schools took his first official visit to Virginia last month (Aug. 31). He is also considering Baylor, Texas, USC, and Wichita State.
