Recruiting Roundup: Weekend Visits and Tidbits

Here’s a look towards this weekend’s recruiting visits and other news. This list will be updated throughout the weekend.

**Jalen Carey, the 6-foot-3 point guard from Immaculate Conception (NJ) High School, will take his first official visit this weekend to Miami (Aug. 25). Carey also has official visits planned for UConn (Aug. 30), Syracuse (Sept. 8), and Kansas (Sept. 29). Carey is also considering Rutgers and Villanova.

**Nassir Little, the 6-foot-7 power forward from Orlando Christian (FL) Prep, will take his first official visit to Georgia Tech this weekend (Aug. 26). Little, who is down to five schools will also take officials to North Carolina (Sept. 8), Miami (Sept. 15), Arizona (Oct. 26), and Duke (Nov. 10).

**Devon Dotson, the 6-foot-2 point guard from Providence Day (NC) School, will take his second official visit to Kansas this weekend (Aug. 25). Dotson took his first official visit to Arizona earlier this month (Aug. 1) but is no longer considering them. He has no other visits planned. In addition to Kansas, Dotson is also considering Florida, Maryland, Miami, Ohio State, USC and Wake Forest.

**Silvio De Souza, the 6-foot-9 power forward from IMG (FL) Academy, takes his first official visit to Kansas on Friday. This is Souza’s first official visit and he has not announced any other future visits yet.

**Josh Leblanc, the 6-foot-7 power forward from Madison (LA) Prep Academy, will take his second official visit to Arkansas this weekend (Aug. 25). Leblanc took his first official visit to Georgetown earlier this month (Aug. 11) and has an official to Texas A&M planned for next month (Sept. 8).

**Morris Udeze, the 6-foot-8 center from Montverde (FL) Academy, will take his second official visit to Butler this weekend (Aug. 26). Udeze has already taken an official to Wichita State (June 12) and will trip to Ohio State (Sept. 15).

**Zion Griffin, the 6-foot-6 small forward from Hinsdale South (IL) High School, takes his first official visit to Illinois State this weekend (Aug. 25). Griffin also has officials to Iowa State (Sept. 8), Pittsburgh (Sept. 15), and Kansas (Sept. 30) planned for next month.

**Noah Locke, the 6-foot-2 point guard from McDonogh (MD) School, took his first official visit to Ohio State on Tuesday (Aug. 22). Locke will also take officials to Providence (Aug. 31), Xavier (Sept. 9), Michigan (Sept. 16), and Florida (Sept. 30).  Kansas, Maryland, and Virginia are also included in Locke’s final list of schools.

**Michael Devoe, the 6-foot-4 point guard from Montverde (FL) Academy, will take his first official visit to Georgia Tech this week (Aug. 25). Devoe will also take official visits to USC (Sept. 9), Florida (Oct. 7), Wake Forest (Sept. 14), and Ohio State (Sept. 22). Clemson, Connecticut, and Indiana are also included on Devoe’s list of schools.

**Brendan Adams, the 6-foot-4 point guard from Calvert Hall (MD) College High School, will take his first official visit to Georgia this weekend (Aug. 24). Adams also has officials planned to Rhode Island (Sept. 7), Wyoming (Sept. 15), and Georgia Tech (Oct. 13).

**Andrew Funk, the 6-foot-3 shooting guard from Archbishop Wood (PA) High School, will take his first official visit to Bucknell this weekend (Aug. 25-27). Funk, who cut his list to three on Tuesday will also take official visits to Delaware (Aug. 30-31) and Penn (Sept. 8-10).

**Alex Lomax, the 5-foot-11 point guard from East (TN) High School takes his first official visit to Wichita State this weekend (Aug. 25). Lomax is also considering Florida, Memphis, Ole Miss, Missouri, and Vanderbilt.

**Jaylen Hoard, the 6-foot-8 small forward from Wesleyan Christian (NC) High School, took an unofficial visit to Wake Forest on Thursday. Hoard has not set any official visits yet and took an unofficial visit to USC earlier this year (May 29).
