AJ Green to Northern Iowa

By SEAN BOCK

AJ Green, the 6-foot-3 point guard from Cedar Falls (IA) High School, told Scout he has committed to Northern Iowa on Friday Afternoon.

A four-star point guard in the class of 2018, Green’s father, Kyle, is an assistant coach for Northern Iowa which played a key factor in Green’s decision.

Along with Northern Iowa, Green was also being recruited by Iowa State, Minnesota, and Virginia among others.

Known for his scoring and great leadership at the point guard position, Green will likely be relied on right away to lead the Panthers and put them back atop the Missouri Valley Conference.

Green is No. 77 overall in the class of 2018 and the No. 2 player from the state of Iowa according to 247Sports.com.
