You may have heard that LeBron James is in Las Vegas and wasn’t allowed in to see the big LaMelo Ball-Zion Williamson showdown Wednesday night.
James wanted to see the game in the Adidas Summer Championships where LaVar Ball was coaching his son, the same game that attracted Lonzo Ball, Damian Lillard, Andrew Wiggins, Jamal Murray and Thon Maker courtside.
“I spoke to him, we shut him down,” Adidas marketing consultant Dan Cutler told CBS Sports. “Just safety of him coming and going. He was 13 deep. But, him sitting there would have been fine, it’s just getting in and out.”
Well, James made more news in Vegas on Thursday night, this time for a game he did attend.

James walked on court to correct the score during an AAU game featuring his 12-year-old son LeBron James Jr. That’s the same son who reportedly holds scholarship offers from Kentucky and Duke.
While LeBron is in Vegas, he’s also reportedly working out with potential Cavaliers target Eric Bledsoe.

Meantime, Cavs guard Kyrie Irving was back at his old school in New Jersey on Thursday playing pickup amidst reports that he’s asked for a trade and has the Knicks among his top four preferred landing spots.
