Jahvon Quinerly Plans First Official to Arizona

Jahvon Quinerly has planned his first official visit to Arizona for June 24-26.

The 6-foot-2 point guard from Hudson (N.J.) Catholic and the Sports U AAU program recently his list to seven schools, and plans to make another cut this summer.

“I’ll probably cut it again in July or August maybe,” Quinerly told ZAGSBLOG recently. “I’m trying to commit before next high school season.”

Ranked the No. 7 point guard nationally by 247Sports.com in the Class of 2018, Quinerly lists a top seven of Arizona, Kansas, Seton Hall, Stanford, Villanova, Virginia and UCLA.

He said he hears from “if not all of them, at least like four of them” on a daily basis.

“I’m wide open,” he said.

He and Sports U teammate Naz Reid have several schools in common, including Arizona, Kansas, Seton Hall and UCLA and have discussed attending school together.

This week Quinerly made the All-Star team at the NBPA Top 100 Camp.
