Among the GMs on hand were Rich Cho (Charlotte), Danny Ainge (Boston), Tom Thibodeau (Minnesota), Doc Rivers (Clippers), Vlade Divac (Sacramento), Bryan Colangelo (Philadelphia), Sean Marks (Brooklyn), Ryan McDonough (Phoenix), Dell Demps (New Orleans) and Gar Forman (Chicago), via Jonathan Givony of DraftExpress.com.
“He shot the ball well which I think helped his draft stock,” one NBA executive said. “I’m not sure he solidified a first-round selection but certainly Top 40.”
DraftExpress.com currently projects Hart to go at No. 44 to the Knicks, who also pick at Nos. 8 and 58.
The 6-foot-6 Hart won two Big East Tournament championships and one NCAA title during his four years at Villanova. He averaged 18.7 points and 6.4 rebounds last season en route to Big East Player of the Year honors.
