Savior Akuwovo, the 6-foot-9 big man from St. Anthony’s, has been piling up offers since joining the Team Rio AAU program.
Akuwovo now has offers from Seton Hall, Pittsburgh, Wake Forest, Brown, Columbia, Penn, Colgate, Monmouth, Robert Morris, Eastern Kentucky, while Rutgers and Maryland are showing interest.
Akuwovo is also in the process of choosing a new high school, with the impending closure of St. Anthony’s, as I wrote in this New York Times piece.
Akuwovo is considering the Ranney (N.J.) School, which features, 2019 stars Bryan Antoine and Scottie Lewis, and the Lawrenceville School, among others.
