UConn Lands Fordham Transfer Antwoine Anderson

Antwoine Anderson, a 6-foot-1 graduate transfer from Fordham, has committed to UConn.

ESPN previously reported the news.

“He really connected with coach [Kevin] Ollie,” said Jimmy Hart of the Albany City Rocks. “He always loved the way UConn uses their guards. He wants to be a part of March Madness and play in the NCAA Tournament.”

Anderson averaged 11.1 points and 3.2 assists last season at Fordham and will have one year of eligibility remaining.

UConn has four scholarships remaining after three players transferred and Makai Ashton-Langford asked for his release and then chose Providence.
