Jordan Tucker Planning Three Visits Before Decision

Class of 2017 wing Jordan Tucker is planning three visits before winding down his recruitment.

The 6-foot-7 Tucker out of Marietta (GA) Wheeler will visit Syracuse this weekend, and will then hit Oregon the weekend of April 21 and Georgia Tech the week after, his father told ZAGSBLOG. Villanova is also in the mix.

As first reported last month by ZAGSBLOG, Syracuse head coach Jim Boeheim and assistant Gerry McNamara recently visited with Tucker..

Syracuse had been involved for Tucker when he was at Archbishop Stepinac (N.Y.) but then backed off. Now with the losses of Andrew White III, John Gillon and Tyler Lydon, Syracuse has jumped back in.

Tucker was initially planning to announce in February, but that obviously didn’t happen. When he commits, he will join fellow NY Rens Hamidou Diallo (Kentucky), Jordan Nwora (Louisville), Jose Alvarado (Georgia Tech), Jake Klores (Columbia) and Samson George (Iona).
